Soft Over Ball

Soft Balls have a range of uses, they are useful in physical therapy, flexibility focussed exercises such as pilates and are particularly effective for spinal and core exercises. The soft over ball is a cheap and reliable option compared to similar options available from other suppliers. This exercise ball comes in handy for pilates, yoga or simple workouts and it is compact enough to take along with you to gym classes

What is a Soft Over Ball?

The Gymnic Soft Over Ball is a lightweight, soft exercise ball designed to enhance your Pilates, Yoga and general workouts by developing strength and endurance.

What can I use a Soft Over Ball for?

The Gymnic Soft Over Ball is great for completing a wide range of exercises, from muscle strengthening to low impact and rehabilitation exercises.

Hold it between the legs while training the core to engage the inner thighs and really work the abs, or while squatting to strengthen the glutes and buttocks. It can also be used to strengthen the shoulders and pectoral muscles during push ups or to support the lower back during core work. These are my pilates balls of choice. I have tried many over the years of teaching. They are the perfect size for everything I do in class and I like the texture of the material they are made of, which makes a difference in certain exercises.

Useful product, but air escapes fast when trying to put in bung so only very soft ball to use. Just about OK.
Unfortunately it does not stay inflated very long, so have to keep blowing it up.

Thanks for the review. The hole can be a bit tricky. When inflated quickly place a finger over the hole to help prevent the air escaping and then remove finger and quickly insert plug. Hope this helps.

Out of all the brands I have tried, this is by far the best. The tiny ‘nobles’ make such a difference to my clients who have such trouble with grip. Some have MS, some have Parkinson’s snd some have bad arthritis. Most other balls slip out of their hands, but the bumps on this over ball really makes a difference to their grip !!!!

good product at a good price

Ordered 2 x 9inch balls. Received promptly and delivery status informed regularly. Blew up using straw provided - excellent. Only strange thing is one is slightly smaller than the other ( one measures 26cms inflated and the other 24 cms )

Good value soft exercise ball. A little tricky to inflate - but got the plug in on third attempt only losing a little air. So unable to inflate to complete capacity but enough. Not used much yet - so can't comment on durability of the product. Prompt and efficient delivery service.

Thanks for the review. Please make sure the plug is inserted fully. If used fairly regularly the ball will naturally need topping up with air, but should hold for full shape for 3-4 days. If the ball continues to cause issues, by all means return it and we will give you a full refund.

Item as described. Pleased with quality and variety of uses.

Didn't inflate fully as there is no valve - so when you remove the inflation straw and try to put the plug in, a lot of air is lost - virtually useless as a result

This ball is dreadful. Comes with a short plastic straw to inflate. Impossible to do so as as soon as remove straw it deflates , trying to inflate without straw and pinching top, again impossible as no return valve fitted, a waste of money, another cheap import from china?
