Thumper® Verve is a single sphere massager that uses Thumper’s proven percussive action. It is the smallest massager in Thumper’s product line, fitting right into the palm of your hand and weighing only 2 lbs.

Thumper® Verve is ideal for treating precise, hard-to-get-at areas, and trigger points. You can target your massage on tight muscles and knots, releasing built-up tension in seconds.

Thumper® Verve is easy to use. Think of it as an extension of your hand, as if you were wearing a mitten. Simply put your hand over it, as if you were using a computer mouse, and strap the flexible band across the back of your hand. You don’t need to grip it; it just stays on your hand. Glide the massager over your skin or clothes on its soft and smooth heel. Guide the massage head to the area you want to massage and let it do its work. For a deeper massage, simply apply some pressure with your fingertips. When used properly, there is virtually no feedback onto your hand or wrist.

I'm a massage therapist and my old thumper died on me after 10 years of use. This one is just the ticket, its almost an extension of my hand so using it on my clients is easier and i can isolate muscles easily.

My chiropractor uses the Maxi pro when my back is in spasm and I thought I ought to buy something similar for home.
I originally wanted to buy the Sport one and came across the Verve. I chose this one as it is easier to pack when I travel as my back usually « go » after few weeks skiing and sailing.
It is very sturdy and works very well on the legs and lower back after a round of golf or running (I hold it with both hands, strap off for easier use on the lower back). It is a bit more difficult to use on your own shoulders (I have rotator cuff issues) but with the help of my opposite arm I find I can massage the knot area/trigger point quite well.
Overall, very happy with the Verve.

Excellent machine, I use this in my osteopathic practice. Great at releasing muscle tension so I can get into the deeper connective tissue quicker. The design makes it so easy to hold and being moulded to your hand gives me greater flexibility in working with a patient I found the one with the handle too cumbersome and heavy and didn’t give the flexibility you need in working with a patient. I wish they also had a more powerful machine of the same design as the thumper verve.
In summary the verve is great working professionally with patients.
The thumpers with a single handle better for working on yourself.
