Thumper Sport

Arrived promptly and well packaged. I read previous reviews but its still a bit heavier than I thought it would be. In reality though you can quite often just place it on a specific area and let it does its work, without having to move it around all the time. It has a long cable but an extension lead is also useful depending on where your seating is in your room. Only tried it out four or five times so far but it certainly relives tightness in the muscles where it is placed.

The only negative is the weight but overall I would recommend this product. It was actually recommended to me by my Osteopath.

Excellent piece of kit. My chiropractor uses this on me & is fantastic for loosening the muscles in my back.

Absolutely love this massager. It’s not too harsh but it really gets to the point. Definitely worth the money. I bought this after my Chiropractor used the Pro one on me recently.

At the suggestion of my Chiropracter I ordered a Thumper and was very impressed with its performance.

I had an history of ankylosing spondylitis and the aftermath after I managed to eradicate it through diet was a neck and back full of tight joints and flexibility and functional issues.

I use the Thumper for upto 10 mins twice a day and even after 2 days it has made a considerable difference.

It stimulates, relaxes gives energy. I use it in conjunction with pilates, activation and strength work and has improved my range of movement. That's just after 11 days!

Great machine for easing muscle tension with a good range of frequencies. The long handle is a blessing to reach hard places.but the weight means you have to think about how you lie to support yourself while using the machine.

Helped with back pain

I tested this on myself first within a tricky to get to area just above my hip, that had annoyingly been painful for some months. Worked a treat.

My massage clients are already enjoying the benefits of this Thumper.

It is a little heavy, but once you learn the best way to hold this gadget so that it's weight falls onto the client, this helps take the pressure off your own wrist.

Easy to keep clean.

This was a well built and very effective aid but turned out not to be what we needed in our domestic situation. The Thumper Sport was too heavy to be used by this person with a mild disability.

That said the support we received to return the item and its subsequent exchange for the lighter weight Thumper Verve was excellent.

Phoebe from Physique-sales in particular was very efficient and helpful.

The replacement Thumper Verve however, is everything we wanted it to be.

Great device that can be used one-handed and by the "patient" themselves.

The product is very good quality and is great for my back and shoulders. I bought this make as it’s the same one as my chiropractor uses.

Only disappointment was that the sealed plastic bag was ripped open when I opened the box, clearly someone had been in the box before me.

Good product. Have not fully sussed out how to us it effectively.

Chiropractor uses the mini pro and recommended it. I bought the sport as it’s quite a bit lighter and as I’m using it myself I thought it was a better option. It’s still quite heavy but works a treat and I try to use it daily. I already feel the benefit and definitely recommend it.

This product is amazing, really helped the pain in my back and shoulders, arrived in couple of days and was lighter to use than i imagined.

This is a great great product, it works on stiff mussels at all frequencys and leaves you feeling great.

Really good when I can hold it in position but because there is a long handle and the head is so heavy it is a little frustrating - seems a fabulous product but I can't get best use of it.

Really useful and solid massager which is currently helping me with sacroiliac joint and muscle pain. This pain spreads to the hip and leg and the massager is really helping to release the muscles. I also have to mention the sales team at Physique who were nothing short of brilliant in getting this massager to me urgently, thank you

Love it ... just what I needed in my life, not too pricey and it really helps with my injured shoulder and Neck, soothing the aches and pains in-between my Chiropractor visits ... would highly recommend.

Brilliant so happy I purchased this...being a therapist for a long time and suffer with a bad shoulder plus a few old injuries. Have to say the thumper is really helping I love it also my son loves it, we actually fight over who's turn it is.

I've only had the Thumper for a week, but I am loving it. I have a really tight shoulder & some tension across my mid-back & it's really helping to relieve the discomfort.

Arrival of the product was prompt. I have purchased the Thumper Massager sport which is very good.The only disadvantage is a bit heavy! Otherwise its a wonderful massager.

Bought for a Christmas present so cannot comment as yet to how this product preformed

Design looks nice and it’s long handle helps with those area’s that are awkward to reach if your using it by your self.

For anyone who leads an active lifestyle this really does relieve muscle tightness from regular, hard exercise workouts or general outdoor/work activities . Wish I'd found this years ago and would have avoided injuries requiring trips to the physio and enforced breaks from my normal training schedule.

Well designed and easy to use, a great piece of kit that is well made.

This machine is well produced and sturdy. It is a fairly large headed machine ideally suited for use on someone else. Having treated others and myself. I found the long handle and the shape of the head particularly useful when working on myself to lean against and lever into my lumbar area and hips. I have found it to be versatile and user friendly. The variation in speed is well graded and used on larger muscle groups the strongest setting really helps to reach into the deeper tissues. Good for private and professional use.The really long flex is fantastic too. Highly recommended

Excellent product. Gives a great massage particularly on the shoulders and back. I have recommended it to my brothers. Beats rolling on tennis balls and can be used through clothing.

A very effective device. I little heavy for one handed self application to the back, but still achievable with the aid of strategically placed cushions!

Ok but not that powerful

Super product. Really easy to use and so powerful for a home use item. I have managed to get into all my sore spots. Easy to change the angle you hold it on your body so you can work different parts of the muscle and really target areas of pain. I felt an immediate loosening and improved movement after the first use. After looking at this product for about a year am kicking myself I didn’t buy it sooner! It’s really brought as massive change to my physical well-being and movement!!

I found it quite heavy to use and have to use both hands and only for short periods of time. Also being thin, it is quite unpleasant as it moves over the bonier areas. I've no doubt that someone stronger with a more muscular frame would probably benefit from it more.

Really helps me during lockdown. Practice on my partner who, has big trigger point issues caused by overuse of muscles as a triathelete! He rates it

As a 35 year old surfer and skateboarder im pretty chewed up these days but this thing is brilliant. I use it before and after sessions and it will save me thousands in sports massages.

I have a back injury that has left me with muscle knots that go into spasm and are so painful it effects my breathing , and I was recommend to get the "Thumper" and I am amazed it leaves you feeling so relaxed and I have only used it 3 times and I am pain free , I wish I had found out about this sooner thank you Physique Management for this wonderful amazing product.

A great tool for anyone who does a lot of physical activity or sports and has tight muscles. I use it prior to giving a massage, get the tissues soft and warmed up before giving a deep tissue massage.
