Our Orthotics & Insoles Range

Taking care of your feet is very important, so we have selected the best range of orthotics & footcare products to alleviate aches and pains.

Featuring hardwearing orthotics to improve posture and alignment, shock absorbing insoles for preventing high impact pain and blister prevention to keep you running.

We’ve also included the latest advancement products in footcare solutions.

Orthotics are used by a wide variety of people to manage pain through pain relief in the feet and ankles while providing much-needed support which in itself is a relief. Orthotics are used by people with Arthritis, diabetes, flat feet, high arches, plantar fasciitis, and similar conditions that cause pain in the joints/muscles in the feet and need re-alignment or re-correction to ease the pain on the feet and the rest of the body. As our feet are an integral part of our body and can have effects on other parts of the lower part of the body such as the lower back, ankles, legs and hips – it is paramount to address foot pain in order to rule it out as the cause for pain in other parts of the body. One way of doing this is by having suitable and accurate support in the form of orthotics or specifically designed insoles. If you are looking for insoles fr Plantar Fasciitis then take a look at our Plantar Fasciitis Insoles & Treatment section or check out our accompanying Buyers Guide;  Plantar Fasciitis Insoles & Treatment

Orthotics and Insoles FAQs

The following information is not meant to be in any way prescriptive and is merely content that has been compiled to help you make an informed decision about which product could suit you. Please remember to contact your physician or sports medicine professional for proper, qualified guidance.

Do orthotics and insoles really help?

Orthotics are known to help position your feet in a way that can help relieve stress and pain on the feet as well as other parts of the body. Orthotics are not a complete solution to pain management as they do not permanently correct your feet but merely provide the correct support. Orthotics can help with realigning flat feet or high arches and relieve pain caused by the knock-on effects to the rest of the body such as the hips and knees. Orthotics can even be used to help alleviate Arthritis pain in the toes while also providing extra, comfortable support which is great for your balance and confidence.

Why shouldn’t you use orthotics?

If you have been prescribed orthotics by a physician or sports therapy/medicine professional then it is advisable to follow this guidance. However, avoid depending on orthotics too much as the support provided acts as a double-edged sword so if you rely on insoles too much then you could experience weaker joints and muscles in the feet and ankles which can, of course, lead to more pain. Similarly, if you should use orthotics and you don’t then you could experience pain in other parts of the body such as the back as a result of not using your orthotics enough.

Are Orthotics meant to hurt?

Orthotics and not meant to hurt, they are custom designed for comfort and to make sure they fit you perfectly so any pain can be caused by incorrect measuring or cutting. If your orthotics are uncomfortable then they could actually do more damage than relief, especially if the result is that the orthotics are overcorrecting

Can you order custom Orthotics?

Although we don’t offer a tailor-made orthotics service, Vasyli has numerous orthotics products that can be cut at home to provide a custom fit. The Vasyli Custom products offer the same benefits as custom orthotics but are marginally more affordable.

Do orthotics provide pain relief and support for Arthritis?

Arthritis is a very delimiting and painful condition so making use of effective pain relief products is essential to managing everyday arthritis. Insoles can provide some pain relief and support to the toes and ankles which helps address the instability, pain and lack of confidence associated with Arthritis. Take a look at the Vasyli custom orthotics or our Arthritis Supports range.
