Yoga for Beginners with Core Elements

AN INTRODUCTION TO YOGA...

Trying to fit multiple home workouts into your isolation lifestyle can feel like a lot of pressure, but keeping fit needn’t mean partaking in the latest push up challenge or going cardio crazy on the treadmill! An online yoga class is not only a great way to squeeze some exercise into your daily routine, it’s also great for practising self-care, calming down an anxious mind and improving sleep quality.

Whether you’re a complete beginner who’s never tried yoga before, or you’re a pro Yogi desperately missing your go-to studio – you’re in luck, we’ve partnered with Dawn Morse, Director of Core Elements Training, to bring you this introduction to yoga which even includes a video for a Yoga Session you can do at home.

Core Elements deliver a range of accredited Sports Massage Training and Sports Therapy based CPD courses, one of which is Clinical Yoga.

This hour-long, primarily standing based sequence, will gently raise your heart rate while lengthening and strengthening your body from top to toe for a supercharged morning, noon or night.

Equipment Needed...

One of the great things about yoga is that you actually need very little to get started.

Throughout the video, Dawn uses a combination of a Yoga Block, Brick and Belt to help maintain healthy, positive alignment while bending, twisting, and opening up the body.
