The Fascial Release Wax: Super Grip came about by requests from therapists for an even stronger grip in the Fascial Release Wax than the classic one offered. It has exactly the same formula, but is designed to have a much stronger grip. Indeed it almost feels like a solid block of beeswax at first glance and feel. It was given the thumbs up by those therapists who trialled it, many of whom can't wait to use for their Fascial and Myofascial Release work. In terms of Grip then, it is at the extreme end of the Songbird Grip chart, and scores around 10... It has very little oil left and the plateau starts right from the beginning of the application. Needless to say the slip is very limited and this is a product which is not designed for general massage, but for specific deep tissue, Fascial and Myofascial release work.
Ingredients
Almond oil, Olive oil, Beeswax, Essential Oil of Lemon, Essential Oil of Manuka, Natural Vitamin E, Arnica Flower Extract, Calenula Flower Extract, Hypericum Extract
Citral, Limonene and Linalool are naturally occurring, declarable constituent ingredients of the relevant essential oils.

I bought this product to work/massage the tendons, muscles and ligaments around my ankle where I have chronic strains/pain and tightness.
This wax has great hold and is non-oily, so you can just take a tiny fleck of it (I tend to pinch a bit up with my nail) then rub/soften into the area before working specifically in the direction of the muscle or tendon. Unlike an oil it has some "resistance" or "grip" to it, so you can use it to "stretch" the tendons etc under the skin without hurting the outer skin and causing external bruising (which can happen when you don't use any product), and it's effective because unlike oil which glides too quickly this gives grip so you can work deeply into a muscle.
It's non-oily so if you use it sparingly, you won't have to wipe it away after application, which is also great and prevents mess. As it's solid you can take it with you in your sports bag, confident that it won't spill either.
For those who need to often self treat after sports etc this is a very useful product, with the added benefit of being non-perfumed. Because you need so little of it per application, the jar will likely last several months if not longer.
